Grillfire Long Beach will be hosting a Jazz concert featuring the leader of the grammy nominated jazz group Special EFX, Chieli Minucci and drummer Lionel Cordew on Friday, August 19th at 9:00pm. Both will be appearing with famous jazz stick player Steve Adelson.
Chieli Minucci has performed with countless pop artists including Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez, Jewel, Mark Anthony and Jessica Simpson. In addition, he has performed with famous jazz artists such as Bobby Caldwell, Marion Meadows and Alex Bugnon.Minucci has won three daytime Emmy Awards, most recently in 2008 for his compositional work on CBS’s The Guiding Light. He is well known for writing the theme songs for both Good Morning America and Bloomberg Radio, as well as producing the soundtrack for the Broadway Across America/Nickelodeon Live stage productions of Dora the Explorer.
